About
Bees are not only extremely important for humans, but also for entire ecosystems to function. As pollinators, bees play a part in every aspect of the ecosystem. They support the growth of trees, flowers, and other plants, which serve as food and shelter for creatures large and small. Globally there are more honey bees than other types of bee and pollinating insects, so it is the world's most important pollinator of food crops.
As we know, bees allow plants to reproduce through pollination. These plants contribute to the food system by feeding animals – aside from humans – such as birds and insects.
The boys at Wild Coast Honey are all about putting the bee's first. We are extremely focused on creating a safe and happy environment for the bee's to flourish in.
Being a part of a fire ravaged community - and considering what already described as a National bee shortage, our main focus is to create awareness and to encourage others to get involved... and some really yummy honey along the way.
